Adele has been receiving career advice from Celine – who has reportedly told her to perform in Vegas, after the Canadian icon herself enjoyed huge success performing in shows from 2003 to 2019
Adele has reportedly been enjoying secret meetings with Celine Dion to get tips on how to hold down a Las Vegas residency – fuelling speculation the British star will soon be heading to Sin City.
And with an incredible double Vogue cover – gracing the front page of the glossy mag on both sides of the Atlantic.
Now reports are suggesting the 33-year-old star could indeed be about to set up home in Las Vegas to perform for fans in a multi-month residency.
And she is said to be speaking to 53-year-old Canadian superstar Celine to get her top tips on making a residency work, after the Think Twice singer enjoyed a record breaking four year run performing in the Nevada city between 2003 and 2007, and returned to perform at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from 2011 to 2019.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Adele adores Celine. When they met she asked all about how she manages her workload.
“Celine was happy to help and recommended Vegas. Adele wants to be near her LA home so it is a great option.”
Adele and Celine famously met backstage at one of the Canadian star’s gigs back in 2018 – where the Hello singer wore a t-shirt with Celine’s face emblazoned upon it.
Last Tuesday Adele thrilled fans by announcing her long-awaited new music was finally getting close to release as she unveiled the titled of her new single, East On Me, shared a clip of the song, and declared it would be unleashed on October 15th.
She then graced the covers of both British and American Vogue where she opened up about her new music, life after divorce, and parenting her eight-year-old son, Angelo.
While on Saturday, she pushed fans into meltdown when she played a longer segment of her comeback single and teased details of her upcoming fourth album – believed to be titled ’30’.
In the lyrics of the new track, Adele sings: “There is no gold in this river that I’ve been washing my hands in forever.
“I know there is hope in these waters but I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning in the silence, baby let me…”
Sharing the clip of the music via Instagram, the star also fielded questions from her fans in which she warned her upcoming record – her first since 2015’s ’25’ – would be full of new heartbreak anthems.

She told fans: “What’s my next album going to be based on? Divorce, babe, divorce.”
While she also declared that she was in good spirits – following her split from now ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
Adele said: “My mental health is very good at the moment. I take it day-by-day and I address whatever comes my way. It definitely helps me feel better if I take my time. Writing my music… yeah it’s been really therapeutic for sure.”
