What channel is Man United vs Liverpool on TV? How to watch and stream info

Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in what is being billed as a pivital game in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s managerial tenure at the club.

With results not going his way in recent weeks, a defeat to arch-rivals Liverpool will pile even more pressure on the Norwegian’s head.

Victory in the Champions League midweek against Atalanta only slightly eased things around the Manchester club given that the team were 2-0 down at half-time.

Though they managed to turn it around, former midfielder Paul Scholes said after the game that a similar first-half performance on Sunday against Liverpool would see them “four down” before the break.

With all eyes on Old Trafford at 4:30pm, United will be hoping talismen Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are able to play with both pictured with the squad on Saturday night but labelled doubts by Solskjaer on Friday.

United head into the game four points behind the Reds and eight points behind league-leaders Chelsea who have played a game more.

Is there any early team news?

The aforementioned Fernandes and Rashford picked up knocks against Atalanta during the week but both are now likely to play some role against Liverpool.

“Games like Wednesday night are always going to bring knocks and bruises and we do have two or three carrying knocks from that game. I’ll give everyone time, I hope I can pick from a fully fit squad, I might be without two or three,” Solskjaer said.

“Bruno [Fernandes] might be a doubt but he’s doing everything he can to be ready.”

Liverpool will be without Thiago Alcantara but Curtis Jones could return after missing the Reds’ game against Atletico Madrid.
