Spurs boss Conte says he will have a meeting with the club’s board soon to outline a strategy for the upcoming January transfer window – but is not taking his mind off the threat of Crystal Palace first.
The Italian said: “Now my focus is to work with the players to improve the situation. Then for sure we will have a meeting with the club to try understand if there is the possibility to improve the situation in terms of transfers.
“But now i think it is good to be focused on the pitch because we have a very important game against Crystal Palace.
“Don’t forget they beat Tottenham 3-0 earlier in the season and we have to make sure we prepare for this game very well because we want to get the three points.”
Reports on Christmas Day suggested this match will be cancelled due to a Covid outbreak in the Crystal Palace camp, but so far a decision has not been made.
