Scots cops in frantic search for two teens who went missing from hospital on Boxing Day

Police Scotland has issued a public appeal for information in a bid to trace two missing teenagers who have disappeared from a hospital in Glasgow.

Morgan Lindsay and Kimberley O’Hare, both 16, vanished from Stobhill Hospital on Boxing Day.

Morgan, who was wearing a black hooded top and leggings, is described as being around 5ft 7ins tall, with long blonde hair.

A post on the Greater Glasgow Police Division Facebook page said the teenager vanished about 7.15pm on Sunday evening, leaving friends and family “increasingly concerned”.

Inspector Crawford from Shettleston Police station said: “Morgan has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character. Friends are understandably worried about it.

“We have a number of police resources out looking for Morgan and I am now looking for assistance from the public. “

A separate post on the same page said the force was also looking to track down Kimberley, who is 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build, with long hair, and wearing a black hooded top and leggings.



Kimberley O’Hare has gone missing.

The force said the Kimberley was also missing from the hospital and was last seen in Balornock Road, Glasgow, at around 7.15pm – the same time as Morgan.

The force said: “Their current whereabouts are unknown and their friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned.”

Inspector Crawford added: “Kimberley has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character.

“Friends are understandably worried about it.

“We have a number of police resources out looking for Kimberley and I am now looking for assistance from the public. “
