A person suffered a severe head harm after being attacked by a thug close to Glasgow Central Station.
The 20-year-old was strolling alongside Gordon Street, close to the rail station, when he was viciously assaulted by a person at about 9.45pm on Saturday.
After being struck on the top and left severely damage, the sufferer was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for remedy.
H is situation is at this stage unknown.
Officers consider he was concerned in an “altercation” with the sufferer 5 minutes earlier than the assault.
The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, medium construct, with brief black hair which was shaved in on the sides.
He was sporting a white T-shirt with a black motif on the chest, black tapered tracksuit trousers, and black trainers with white soles.

Detective Constable Matthew McCann stated, “We believe that five minutes prior to the assault taking place, there was an altercation between the two men.
“This area is always busy with people out and about and revellers socialising.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us.
“Even if you think your information is not important, let us be the judge of that and please do pass it on.
“A young man has sustained a serious head injury and it’s vital we find the person responsible.”
