Russian troops ‘murderers, torturers, rapists, looters’, says Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian President, known as Russian troops “murderers, torturers, rapists, looters” on Monday after dozens of our bodies had been discovered close to Kyiv, triggering world outrage and vows of powerful new sanctions on Moscow.

Local authorities stated that they had been compelled to dig communal graves to bury the lifeless accumulating within the streets, together with some discovered with their arms tied behind their backs.

Despite Russian denials of duty, condemnation was swift, with world leaders voicing their shock at studies of civilian murders in Bucha and elsewhere.

In his nightly video message, Mr Zelensky warned that “concentrated evil has come to our land”.

He described Russian troops as “murderers, torturers, rapists, looters, who call themselves the army and who deserve only death after what they did”, talking in Ukrainian.

Switching to Russian, he continued: “I would like each mom of each Russian soldier to see the our bodies of the killed folks in Bucha, in Irpin, in Hostomel.

“I want all the leaders of the Russian Federation to see how their orders are being fulfilled.”

Mr Zelensky stated he had created a particular physique to research killings in areas from which Russian troops have withdrawn across the capital.
